WINTER ACTIVITIES

Skating, tobogganing, snowshoeing, tubing, cross-country skiing, hiking...there's no end of activities designed to get you prepared for a warm fire and hot tub at the end of the day.

The Kawartha Nordic Ski Club is located just north of Stoney and Clear Lake with over 30km of groomed trails track set for classic skiing and 10km groomed for skate skiing. Four cabins on trails are equipped with wood stoves and first aid equipment. Patrolled on weekends by the Canadian Ski Patrol the trail offers great opportunities to see wildlife on Crown Game Preserve. Call (705) 749-5605 for trail conditions.
